Importing Musical Instruments

Those working in entertainment industry, theatre companies, orchestra bands can use A.T.A. CARNET to import/export necessary equipment for their public and private performances

Since A.T.A. CARNET is a globally accepted customs document for import and export.

Trader must check permission for the goods before continuing with the procedures.

Procedures

Registration

Register the import/export company on website https://mr.thaichamber.org/

Prepare relevant documents

• Company certificate signed by authorized person and stamped with company seal
• Authorized person’s personal documents, copies of ID card and House Registration, or copies of passport and Work Permit in case the authorized person is a foreigner
• Commercial invoice, goods details, goods value in Thai currency
• Colour photographs of goods

Print out the A.T.A. CARNET form

Submit documents

Submit documents mentioned in 2 and 3 at Board of Trade of Thailand for officer’s inspection of documents and goods details

Collect A.T.A. CARNET

Duration of A.T.A. CARNET issuance

• 3 Working days for normal cases
• 1 Working day for urgent cases, counting from the day complete documents have been received
