Enhancing Thai MICE with ‘MICE One-Stop Service’ Centre

Meetings, Incentive Travels, Conventions and Exhibitions (MICE) is an industry that has tremendous economic impact on Thailand through pre-and-post event activities. Exhibitions and events also enable sellers and buyers or service providers/operators and customers to meet and do businesses as well as sharing best practices, technologies, or innovations.

Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) realizes that facilitation is a key to promoting Thailand as MICE destination, and collaboration is required from all relevant sectors to create appropriate environment for the MICE industry.

Therefore, on 11 April 2016, TCEB established a Government Coordination Subcommittee to facilitate trading and services for MICE business. The subcommittee, comprising relevant government agencies, succeeds in troubleshooting any MICE issues promptly and effectively.

The Government Coordination Subcommittee plays an important role in facilitating and integrating trading and services for MICE businesses without amending the laws or regulations. This provides Thailand with a competitive edge in MICE industry today and in the future.
