E-Import Prepare and upload Import Entry declaration to Customs electronic database for verification. Once verified, an acknowledgement will be sent to the importer or Customs Broker electronically.
Importer-Exporter registration with Customs Department
Traders must register to be listed in Customs Department’s online database in order to perform electronic Customs formalities.
Remark
Registration is not required if goods, transportation and insurance fees are less than 1,500 Baht in total and are not prohibited or restricted goods.

Uploading Import Entry data to e – Import system
Remark
There are four ways to do upload data:
- Self-upload
- Assign a Customs Broker to upload
- Engage a Service Counter to upload data
- Present a form completed with Import Entry declaration information at Customs Service Counter, Customs Service Office 1, 1st Floor, BC-1 Building
Remark
After receiving a reply with Import Entry declaration number from the system, the submission of Import Entry declaration to Customs Department is regarded as complete (status 0109). Once Customs duty is paid or exempted, the system will change the status to 0209.

Payment of Customs Duty, VAT, Excise Tax, Local Government Tax, and other taxes and duties
can be made through e-banking services or contact the Duty Accounting Sub-division, 2nd Floor, BC-1 Building during office hours. Alternatively, go to Customs Export Clearance (CE) Building outside office hours.

How to collect imported goods from Customs Bond
In general, goods imported into the Kingdom and released from Customs Bond,
- Goods are considered to have type, quality, quantity, weight, price, or duty as that uploaded to the Customs electronic database.
- Before collecting goods from TG or BFS warehouse, importers have to complete the Customs procedures.
- Importers have to ensure goods match with information stated in Import Entry declaration which had been uploaded to Customs electronic database.

Collecting goods from Customs Bond via e – Import system

Importers or Customs Brokers can check the name of Customs officer assigned to conduct goods inspection from Chief Inspector or authorized officer.
3. The assigned Customs officer will verify HS code, prices and goods.
If everything is correct, the officer will record inspection result in the system and will notify the warehouse to release the goods from Customs Bond. Importers can contact TG or BFS warehouse to collect goods (Import Entry declaration status 0309 and once the warehouse issue Customs Permit, the system will change status to 0409).
