Customs duties refer to the fees imposed in accordance with customs laws when receiving various services from government agencies. It is a normal practice to pay fees for services provided by the Customs Department, and these fees come in various types. Here are some key points regarding the customs duties that business owners should be aware of when engaging in customs procedures:

  • Customs Procedure Fees (Article 51)
  • Licensing Fees and Annual Fees for Bonded Warehouses, Secure Warehouses, Authorized Ports, Free Trade Zones, and Operations within Free Trade Zones (Article 113)
  • Fees for Off-Hours Customs Operations according to the Customs Act B.E. 2560 (Article 56)
  • Fees for Departure of Vessels or Aircraft, Cargo Release Forms, and Ship Release Forms (Article 185)
  • Fees for Advance Customs Rulings, such as requesting advance pricing, advance country of origin, or advance tariff classification (Article 18)
  • Fees for Extended Stay of Vessels that have loaded goods for export for more than 14 days from the start of loading, or for vessels that have received goods but are still within the port for more than 14 days from the start of loading (Article 75)
