Electronic Payment Service

As technology advances and provides convenience to people, its significance in the logistics industry has become even more paramount. Entrepreneurs in the industry can now benefit from the e-Payment service offered by the Customs Department, which enables the electronic payment of taxes and duties.

Benefits of e-Payment:

• Streamlined Process: Entrepreneurs can now pay their duty fees seamlessly while submitting their goods declarations, thereby reducing the number of steps involved in the payment process.

Limitations of e-Payment:

• Information Required: To use the e-Payment service, entrepreneurs must specify their bank code and account number on the goods entry.

• Registration Required: The bank account numbers used for e-Payment must be registered with the Customs Department in the visitor registration system.

Procedural Steps:

• Open an account and request e-Payment/e-Guarantee service with the bank.
• Provide the bank’s name and the account number for the payment of duty and/or refund of duty to the Customs Department. 

• For new account registration, submit Registration Request Form No. 1 along with Attachment E. 

• For existing users, submit Request Form No. 7 and Attachment E.
