In what cases can Customs Bonds be deposited?
- Depositing for Later Customs Procedures: This refers to the case where passengers deposit their goods or belongings within the airport or seaport’s storage facility to await customs procedures to be carried out later after they have temporarily stopped in Thailand and return to the same airport or seaport at a later time.
- Visible Baggage Deposit by Transiting Passengers: This is when passengers directly deposit their items by physically presenting their baggage for deposit, without having to pass these items through Thai customs. This is typically used when passengers have multiple items or oversized belongings and do not wish to carry them during their temporary stopover in Thailand.
