The Ministry of Finance, through the Comptroller General’s Department, has announced an increase in allowances for meals and accommodation for domestic training programs. Ms. Patricia Mongkhonvanit, Director-General of the Comptroller General’s Department, stated that this revision updates the rates that have been in use since 2013. The calculation is based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI), ensuring that government agencies can disburse funds appropriately, fairly, and in a way that reflects real costs. This measure is also expected to help stimulate the national economy.
