If your passport is lost and there is no embassy or consulate of your country in Thailand, MICE travellers can apply for an Emergency Certificate (E.C.) at the Immigration Division and Document Inspection, 3rd Floor, Department of Consular Affairs. Here are the steps and information:

Required documents:
- Completed application form
- Notification letter in case of a lost passport of a foreigner without an embassy or consulate in Thailand, along with two sets of photocopies
- Confirmed flight ticket with two sets of photocopies
- Three passport-sized photos (2-2.5 inches), taken within the last 6 months, showing a front-facing view without wearing a hat or dark glasses
- Notification letter from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (in the case of politically displaced persons) along with two sets of photocopies
Processing time: 3 business days
Note: An Emergency Certificate (E.C.) will only be issued in the following cases:
- Lost passport of a foreigner without an embassy or consulate in Thailand
- Displaced persons in the context of war
- Stateless children or children without registration status under the care of the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security
- Infants of foreigners without an embassy or consulate in Thailand
